Our History
Mona’s Country Day School has been family owned and operated for over 50 years. It started out as a small day care center in the most southern part of Chandler known as Ocotillo.
At the time it was established, it was surrounded by cotton fields, corn fields and occasional grazing sheep. Ramona Felix (original owner) chose the name: Mona’s Country Day School.
In 1990, Neke Zamboni (Ramona’s niece), purchased the business and chose to keep the name for her Aunt. Neke Zamboni is the owner/director and is a graduate of Arizona State University with a BS degree. In addition, Neke Zamboni has received the National Director Credential for Early Childhood Leadership from National Louis University.
