See What Parents Say About Us
The best daycare! The staff from the top down fosters such a community of kind hearted and caring individuals. My kids can’t wait to get there in the morning and don’t want to leave in the afternoon. Great job Neke, Bitsy and crew!!

Both of my sons have been at Mona’s Country Day School since they were just 15 months old, and I honestly can’t imagine a better place for them to begin their early years. Our younger son is currently in the 2-year-old class, and our older son just graduated and started kindergarten this year. Thanks to the amazing teachers at Mona’s, he was more than ready—socially, emotionally, and academically.
They’ve supported us through so many big milestones—like potty training both boys (which felt daunting at first!) and even helped our older son through the heartbreaking loss of two grandparents. The love and care they showed during that time meant the world to us.
Mona’s isn’t just a daycare or preschool—it truly feels like an extension of our family. We’re so grateful for everything they’ve done for our boys and the sense of comfort and trust they’ve given us along the way.

We have two kids (now aged 3.5 and 1.5) and had a nanny to start when my oldest was a baby. Our nanny moved away and we were devastated and unsure if daycare was going to be right for us. We toured all the major daycares that took infants and toddlers in the Chandler area and I was ready to give up because I could not imagine sending my 10 week old baby to one of these other places. The baby rooms had 15 babies rolling around and it just didn't feel right at all.
We didn't originally look into Mona's because not as much information came up about it online but my sister drives by it a lot and told me to check it out. As soon as we met the owner, Neke, and stepped in the front door I knew that it was the right place to send our kids.
There were three babies in the baby room and it was quiet and felt very homey. The ratios for all classes, including the infants, is much lower than what you can find at other daycares, so I feel my kids are still getting enough 1:1 care while also building critical social skills that they don't as easily at home with a nanny.
All of the teachers are wonderful and the owner is very involved and we have the utmost trust in everyone. In addition to having a great program, they have been incredibly helpful with meeting our kids individual needs. Our son had torticollis when he was born and therefore needed to have physical therapy. The teachers helped him do all his exercises and stretches while he was at school and I'm happy to say he is now running around and meeting all of his milestones. Both of our kids have really flourished since joining Mona's and they love going to daycare.
If you are considering daycare in the area, especially if you have a newborn, Mona's should be at the top of your list. It's unassuming from the outside and the best kept secret in Chandler. We are so grateful that we found it!

As a first time parent, choosing a daycare was one of the hardest decisions we had to make. Being a former "Mona's graduate" (~27 years later) there was not a single doubt in my mind that we would make the 1 hour commute one way to take our child here. Now 4 years later, and a 2nd child, we still continue to feel as confident in our decision to take our children here as we did on day 1. Dropping off our children each day feels like leaving them with family (the ones you actually want to be your family, lol). The warmth, love, and genuine care the staff show makes it so easy to head off to work without a single worry.
Both of our children (now 4 and 1) thrive with the low child-to-staff ratio. They don’t just watch our child; they nurture them, teach them, and celebrate every little milestone right along with us.
We’ve seen so much growth in both children over our time at Mona's. Socially, emotionally, and developmentally, they both are excelling. The environment is safe, structured, and full of joy, and we honestly couldn’t imagine a better place (or better people) to be apart of our kids' lives.

We brought our 18 month old to Mona’s this summer. He’s an only child, but right away he benefited from the social activity.
They do a great job from drop-off (they wash hands first!) to mealtime (you get a report of what and how much they ate every day) to how many times they had their diaper changed that day.
We’ve been amazed at how much he’s learned after being there for only a few months. He uses words and phrases that surprise us every day and he’s already counting and saying ABC’s.
This is a great little neighborhood school.
